Opening Calisthenics Maximapark
It took a while, but it's finally worth it. The sporty Maximapark now also has a calisthenics and boot camp park. The park, located on the Lint, was the initiative of five Leidsche Rijn residents. The official opening took place last Saturday, and we were there!
The program
Alderman Kees Geldof was also present and cut the red ribbon. After the official opening of the street workout park, the Calisthenics Zeist team gave an impressive demonstration and showed off the park's features. Afterwards, the public could work up a sweat. Two competitions were held: who could hang on to the bars the longest and who could do the most push-ups. The prize? A bright green goody bag from StreetGains :). Finally, there was an interesting calisthenics workshop led by Papito, Thijmen, and Bo from Calisthenics Zeist.
Calisthenics training in the Maximapark
The street workout park is very active and regularly organizes various training sessions. For example, calisthenics training sessions are held on Mondays if there are enough registrations. You decide how much you consider the training worth and want to pay for it (pay-what-you-want principle).
